Our tackle football program is offered to children between the ages of 9 and 12.  Our league is a great introduction to the sport of football. Teams from surrounding communities also participate in our league, which provides a great way to meet new friends, play different teams and have fun while doing so. Families love to gather around the football field, and whether it's Friday night lights, Saturday morning YMCA football or Sunday NFL games, football season truly is great!

Registration dates:       May 1 - August 23
Skills Assessment:        Saturday, August 24 (ages 8-12 only)
                                      (only Kerrville team participants need to attend)
                                             Jr. Tackle 8 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
                                             Sr. Tackle 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
First Game:                   September 14
Last Game:                    November 2 for regular season
Playoffs:                        November 9
Closing Ceremony:        November 10
Super Bowl:                   November 10

Cost:                           $80/child + $40 equipment rental
                                    Equipment pick-up begins August 1st
